IMPORTANT--AUTISM AND BULLYING MEETING
The "Autism and Bullying" Parent Meeting was erroneously listed on the FEAT calendar as occuring on Tuesday, September 22nd. This is INCORRECT. THE CORRECT DATE IS TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 29TH. WE APOLOGIZE FOR THE CONFUSION. Upcoming Parent Meetings
The September FEAT parent meeting will be Thursday, Sept 10th at 7pm in the boardroom at Home of the Innocents at 1100 E. Market St. This will be an open forum, where parents can meet each other, talk, and ask questions._____________________________________________________________________________ The October FEAT meeting will be Tuesday, October 6th at 6:30pm in the boardroom at the Home of the Innocents,1100E. Market St. Debbie Lorence from the Kentucky Autism Training Center, will follow-up from her popular August FEAT parent meeting regarding parental stress and autism. Debbie will speak about "Taking Care of Yourself."_____________________________________________________________________________ Please let us know if you are coming. Childcare will be offered at these meetings, but you must make a reservation. FEAT Music Therapy Program--Instructor Takes CDO as payment as option
Music Therapy Program FEAT has collaborated with music therapist Patricia Guobis to begin music therapy groups. The groups would meet every other week at various times in 40 minute sessions and the cost would be around $20 per session per child. Private sessions are available as are piano lessons. If you are interested, please call Patricia at 456-2682. For those families using CDO (Consumer Directed Option), Patricia will work out a payment schedule.

FEAT is attempting to help its parents find qualified and caring individuals interested in becoming respite workers.
