We need a crowded room of support for this very important meeting. We were asked by Rep. Jeff Greer, Chair of the Banking and Insurance Committee, to join his committee and the Senate Banking & Insurance Committee to present on the issue of autism insurance.
Meeting will be held in the Capitol Annex building on Tuesday, June 23rd from 10am-11am. Speakers include a parent from Prestonsburg, KY, Lorri Unumb from Autism Speaks (Autism Votes), Dr. Stacy Trinkle, Amanda Ralston, BCaBA, Beth Lyons from HOTI, and myself.
This is a big chance to get the issue of autism insurance back in the limelight so when the new session begins in January, we have a new bill that will have a greater chance of getting passed this next session.
Some of us are car pooling there next Tuesday and we'd be more than happy to drive you there if you can make it.
Just let me or Janet Pope know. I can be reached at 641-3646 and Janet at 241-0809.
Hope to see you there! Anne
